We were even tempted to cancel our onward trip to the Scily Isles and stay longer! Paul is a charming little village, and Mousehole is an easy stroll away. On arrival, we were treated to tasty scones, and breakfast was five-star. Our room was huge, tastefully decorated, and had a large, luxurious ensuite stocked with toiletries in case you need them. The hosts were warm and kind, welcoming even our large, smelly dog.

Cathy and Martin made all of us feel at home, our dog included. They even drove after us to return a few things we’d forgotten. The place was spotless, and we loved its quieter spot in Paul, just a short walk from Mousehole, about 12 minutes downhill and 15 minutes back uphill. Our room felt like home, with an ensuite, TV, coffee machine and hairdryer. Breakfast was superb. We stayed at 6 Trungle Terrace on 18th April, loved everything about it, and will definitely return. Thanks for the hospitality, we really appreciated it.

The only disappointment was having booked just one night. Our big bedroom had a very comfortable bed, and breakfast was wonderful, especially the excellent homemade marmalade. Cathy and Martin were fantastic hosts from arrival right through to leaving, and the whole stay was exceptional. A must if you need a room around Paul or Mousehole.

A lovely breakfast finished things off nicely. The hosts were excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was good.
