Out back, there’s a garden cooperative with a little shop. The house itself is traditional, quiet and well kept, with lovely rooms and views. Everything was very clean, the beds were good, and the rear garden was a nice place to sit and read. The breakfast was just what I hope for from an English B&B: a brilliant full English, including black pudding, which I love. There was freshly prepared fish too, plus a lovely fruit buffet, cereals and homemade jams and marmalade. A lovely, friendly woman takes care of it all.

The hotel has a lot of charm, and you can tell the owners really care about their work. The couple were so kind, and breakfast was fantastic, with loads of fruit to choose from. I hadn’t eaten by late evening, even though the kitchen was already closed, and the owner still made me a whole meal. The salad was so good, the sort of thing you don’t often get in a restaurant, where it’s often much simpler. All the best, and warm regards from a Dutch photographer!

Bosavern House was a handy base for coastal trips. We loved our stay. The room had plenty of space, was comfortable, and had lovely little details. Breakfast was exceptional and just right. I’ve never had such a good fruit salad, even in 5-star hotels.
