Michelle made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived, and all the staff were just as friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and it set us up for the day. The whole stay felt like being at home. We’ve just got back and already can’t recommend The Commercial enough.

We dropped in as we were passing on Sunday evening and were seated quickly after a warm welcome. The calamari starter was followed by fish and chips and crab linguine. They didn’t have a cheese board listed, but kindly put one together for us anyway. I had Sea Fury beer, then a very smooth local rum.

So nice to be back in St.Just. The woman at the bar was lovely and let us order even though the kitchen was nearly closing. Our food arrived fast and piping hot, and the chips were amazing.

We met up here for lunch with friends from Devon and really enjoyed it. Both the food and service were excellent. It’s now our first choice for ourselves, and for when we have guests too.

Recently decorated rooms that are nicely equipped, with a good ensuite and a lovely breakfast. There’s plenty of free parking nearby. Recommended.
