The pod had lovely views, and the walks nearby are stunning. We stayed with the family in one of the new camping pods in October. It was blustery outside, but the underfloor heating kept it warm, sometimes a bit too warm. Small but well equipped, and set in a beautiful rural spot. The toilets and showers were very clean and had recently been refurbished. The hostel was full while we were there, but the staff handled things incredibly well. We'll definitely visit again.

After walking in the rain, the room's two windows made it easy to air out. Everything was clean and as expected, including fresh sheets, a warm room with bunks, and a clean sink. Each bed had a plug socket, two USB ports, and a night light. The staff were friendly and brought us some much-needed coffee at the end of the day. We didn't have breakfast, but it was available, and the spread I saw in the morning looked varied and appetising.

The view is amazing, and the room and facilities were clean and working as described. The food was good, and I'd highly recommend breakfast. I had booked a private room, but the corridor and the toilet and shower facilities were shared with the family room. A group of kids in there needed showers at 23:00, ran back and forth, and flushed the toilet through the night. The flush sounded like thunder in my room. Staff couldn't do anything about it, but I wouldn't recommend the private room. You'd probably sleep better in the dorms.

A great base for a couple of nights of camping while exploring the Cape Cornwall area. It's properly quiet, with fields, flowers, and lovely views all around. There are lots of places to visit nearby, plus the classic coast path if you're up for a good tramp.

This campsite and youth hostel isn't there anymore, even though the road signs remain. We went to the location and found a private property under construction. It should be removed from maps as a place to stay.
