Elmsdale Guest House

The owners were wonderful hosts, so nice and reliable, and we’d gladly recommend Dunedin Guesthouse. We stayed for three nights in July as part of a family holiday, and everything was just as described. We hope to come back another time.

Breakfast was a great way to start the day, with yoghurt, cereal, fruit, a full English, eggs on toast or boiled eggs to choose from. There was unlimited juice, tea and coffee, plus toast, and everything was cooked perfectly. Our room was huge, very clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. My wife and I really enjoyed a relaxing holiday here. Great value, and we’d fully recommend giving it a try.

We’re from Australia, and this may be the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were spotless and the breakfasts fantastic. Shalia and Duncan were friendly, courteous, obliging and helpful. When train problems meant we’d be late and couldn’t get a taxi, they even picked us up from the station after we called. And no, we’re not related! Thank you.

Shaline and Duncan, the guesthouse hosts, are really friendly, nice and helpful. We stayed five nights and recommend the accommodation. Our en-suite room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Town, the nearest pebble beach and Lidl are all about a 10-minute walk away.
