The dining room has a big shared table, and we enjoyed the special omelettes and the tips for places to eat around Penzance. We walked along the coast to Mackarel Sky in nearby Newlyn, which was a lovely outing. Our daughter was especially happy handing treats to Elvis the resident dog 😃 Mike and Ally made us feel so welcome, and the house is kept to a really high standard. We loved our stay and got lucky with the weather. It was a perfect holiday, and we’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Mike and Ally, from all the Kimseys.

Already talking about coming back next year. The place is immaculate, and Ally and Mike are such good hosts, full of useful suggestions for places to eat and visit. Breakfast is cooked to order, and the banana bread is beautiful. And Elvis is a beautiful boy ❤️ Thanks everyone, see you next year. ❤️ Elvis ❤️

Elvis was very cute too 🦮. We only stayed one night at Holbein House, but absolutely loved it. Mike and Ally were so welcoming and friendly, and you can see how much the hotel means to them. The omelette at breakfast and the banana bread were delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here. :)

Breakfast had loads to choose from: fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, granola, fresh bread, and some lovely hot options. Don’t miss the omelettes. My sister and I also had stylish en suite rooms with very comfortable beds and tea and coffee making facilities. Ally gave us a warm welcome, and Ally, Mike and Elvis were all friendly, helpful, and sociable. Holbein House is a really good B&B. Thank you so much!

The room was clean and cosy, and breakfast was made with excellent fresh ingredients. Mike’s top n°1 omelette was a favourite. We came to Holbein House for a long weekend in August to visit Saint Michael's Mount, and felt at home straight away. Ally and Mike were so friendly and helpful. Hope we get back before too long. 🌻🙏
