No 12 Furze Croft

Alison thought of so many little details, we were blown away. The room was finished to a very high standard, and breakfast was amazing, especially the fresh fruit salad. The kitchen had everything we could want, from different teas to a Nespresso machine. We’d recently bought an electric car, and the newly installed tethered charger meant we were the first to use it. Alison made sure it all went smoothly and even gave us a printout of what we’d used. That’s a great idea, and it definitely swayed us when booking. Keep it up, Alison. We’ll be back soon.

The breakfast was excellent quality, and when we got back at night we were even asked how our day had been. Alison and her husband were both so welcoming. Alison took the time to tell us about things to do, and the next morning her husband came down to greet us too. Such a lovely gentleman. We spent the bank holiday weekend here and had a superb stay. They made our break away perfect, and we were greeted with so much warmth, along with the sunshine!! 😀

This is a room in someone’s house rather than a hotel, but it’s self-contained, so you don’t need to go through the family’s living space. We found it great value with excellent facilities, and would definitely stay again. It’s a lovely option if you’re happy to be a short stay from St Ives or Penzance. After visiting St Ives for my birthday, we found the place easily and had clear instructions for getting the keys, which was especially helpful with the Covid situation at the time. Our room and the bathroom were really clean and lovely. There were plenty of breakfast options, including cereals, croissants and fruit, and the owners supplied towels and shower gels. The owner was friendly and welcoming when saying goodbye. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The room was spotless, the kitchen well stocked, and the info pack covered what to do and where to eat nearby. Add the beautiful accommodation, friendly, welcoming hosts Mark and Alison, and a breakfast to die for, and this is the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We’ll be back again!! #thisishowitshouldbedone
