The cottage is cute and the location is excellent, but I wouldn't book it again. The property is effectively four floors, with narrow stairs and no safety rails. Getting suitcases up to the top was impossible, so we left them in the lounge. Parking was advertised as free on booking.com, but there wasn't any, and we had to pay to park quite far away. There were laminated rules everywhere, in nearly every room, and it didn't feel welcoming. One even suggested you aren't allowed to drink red wine in the cottage. We were also expected to strip the beds, carry all the linen downstairs and bag it before leaving. We paid a high price for a cottage booked through booking.com, and feel that should be the cleaning staff's job. If you're happy with lots of rules, don't have a car to park or much luggage, don't drink red wine, and want to be within walking distance of town, this could be a god choice for you.
