The location is stunning, and it's a nice place, but the experience felt a little overpriced. We stayed in one of the large tents and got all the instructions and information we needed. The staff were polite and pleasant. The tent was roomy enough, with a simple wooden pallet-style base, pillows, and duvets in white covers. There were loads of slugs and insects, though that's probably part of camping. The outdoor toilets and showers had hot water, but the lighting was poor. Breakfast was available, with several choices, but I didn't think it was worth the price. It wasn't tasty, with microwave eggs and hard bacon and sausage.

We had a really nice private room in this clean, well-kept hostel. It's got a lovely atmosphere among the trees. People next door were noisy all night, maybe singing, but that was down to the other guests rather than the hostel. Earplugs might be useful.

We stayed one night in two pods. Everything was nice, the bedding was clean, and breakfast was tasty. Based on that stay, I'd definitely recommend it.

Fionnuala was such a welcoming, friendly face when we arrived late in the evening. All the staff were accommodating and kind. We stayed in a spacious, clean shared female dorm with really comfortable sheets. I didn't get to see the other areas, like the self-catering space, since I was catching a train. The grounds are lovely, and the location is great, just far enough outside Penzance to avoid the bustle. There's plenty of information about local activities, and kids eat for free. I'd suggest it to anyone travelling with children. Hopefully I'll be back during the season.

The staff were great, really professional, and clearly loved their work. Amazing location, and breakfast was a 10. The beer is a bit expensive, though. Everything was perfect, and it was a great experience.
