The shower was the one real plus, with strong pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel is cheap, and the quality shows it. The room was small, with a desk barely big enough for a laptop and a so-called double bed that was large single at best. Staff were friendly, but they would come into rooms to clean at 10am without knocking. I work late shifts and was often still in the room then. There are no do not disturb signs. On checkout day they were knocking at 9:45 to make sure guests would leave on time.

The reception desk is good, parking is available, and the bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. The rest felt cheap, cramped, and not very clean: stained bedding, poor beds and pillows, cobwebs, and awful decor. The beds were three-quarter size rather than doubles. It's still a cheap option, but worse value than other budget places.

I spent four nights here while working away and barely slept. Noise from people in the rooms and corridor carried constantly. Mosquitoes kept appearing, and I must have killed about 30. The room felt filthy, with stains and burn holes on the bedding, cobwebs everywhere, and a carpet that looked like it had never seen a hoover. I know it's very cheap, but the price would need to drop a lot more to match what you get. I only needed a bed while working away, but I'd never stay here again. I'd rather sleep in the back of my car.

Bruce was very nice and helpful, and the people were nice in general. But I checked out within an hour because it wouldn't have been comfortable for me. I had declared my disability when booking, yet there are no lifts. The room wasn't very clean: the basin was dusty and there was debris on the corner table. The shower fan didn't work, the chair was broken and I nearly fell off it, the TV remote didn't work, and there was no AC.
