We really appreciated the homemade jam and cakes in the fantastic welcome pack. This beautiful cottage is cosy, well equipped and a great base for exploring nearby. Andy and Emma were helpful with tips on local cycling and walking routes, especially around Dalby forest. Great hosts and location, we’ll see you again in the Spring.

There’s off-road parking and a small patio where you can sit and relax. Emma and Andy are lovely hosts, and the cottage has everything you need, including lots of walking books and their own suggestions. It’s in a handy spot for exploring the area and getting out on some great walks.

We love the peaceful feel of Eden House and are already planning our third stay for early May after two visits with my husband. Emma and Andy know the area well and are happy to help with places to eat, things to see, and good walking or cycling routes. The guest lounge is a real favourite, somewhere to unwind before or after an evening out. Rooms are immaculate, beds very comfortable, and the quality linen, towels and stocked bathroom and hospitality tray all stand out. Emma’s delicious breakfasts include homemade garden-fruit compotes and jams, along with local produce. It’s a small, charming B&B that offers a lot.

The dining space looks out over a beautiful garden, and the location makes it easy to get to all the town’s facilities. Andy and Emma are friendly, obliging hosts, and the accommodation is comfortable and well equipped.

There are plenty of walking books and maps for exploring the area, and you can also set off for a walk right from the cottage. Pickering town centre is easy to reach too. We had a lovely short break in this cosy, well-appointed holiday cottage, with high-quality furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen and a log burner that made the evenings in especially cosy. The garden would be lovely to sit in when the weather’s warmer.
