We had a really positive couple of nights here and would stay again. The view from the front was fantastic, even in dreary weather, and Tracey was a friendly, welcoming and attentive host. Breakfast was very good too. Our room was spacious, with a large bed, a clean modern bathroom and all the facilities we needed. The place is just up the hill from the centre. There's an Indian restaurant and bar a short walk away, handy if you don't fancy walking back.

On our road trip through Scotland, this was our best stay. Tracey was a lovely host, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, with great views. Breakfast was outstanding.

The proprietor was lovely, friendly and attentive, and breakfast was fantastic. I nearly broke the coffee machine, but they took it in stride. The building has a very clean, modern, high spec look inside and out, with lots of little classy touches that make a visit worthwhile.

The Victorian house has high ceilings, so the room feels especially spacious, with two big windows looking out over the hills. Ours was lovely, and the bathroom was clean and had a good-sized shower. The decor throughout is finished to a high standard, with plenty of attention to detail. Breakfast was good. You choose the night before and book a time slot. Tracy was accommodating and happy to suggest places to eat and things to do.
