The whisky bar was such a fun surprise, and the house is beautiful, spotless, and easy to reach. Breakfast had loads of choice and was delicious. After our long drive, Iris and Jack made us feel at home straight away and did everything they could to help us settle in. Dunfallandy House has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with thoughtful extras everywhere, from homemade tablet when we arrived to refreshments and binoculars by the window for watching wildlife. You can see how much they care about the house and their guests. We loved talking with them and would happily recommend staying here. We’ll definitely be back.

The whisky snug downstairs was a real highlight. Jack knows a lot about the whisky trade and is happy to share what he knows in a really engaging way. We found the rooms very comfortable and well supplied, with thoughtful details that made the stay feel personal. Dunfallandy House has a distinctive atmosphere, with a professionally put-together style and genuine attention to each guest’s preferences. It’s a stylish, welcoming place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our short visit. We’re already planning to come back soon.

Jack and Iris made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was first class, and Iris’s tablet is the best in Scotland. The Georgian mansion has been renovated beautifully and sits somewhere peaceful, just five minutes from Pitlochry town centre. A quality stay at a good price.

That quirky, newly refurbished bistro was a memorable place to eat. We had great pizzas and tasty bar snacks that were reasonably priced, including chicken wings and fish finger sandwiches. The sticky toffee pudding was just the comfort food we needed after a day in the saddle. Breakfast was delicious too, with full Scottish choices or salmon and avocado. Dunfallandy House is a charming period home full of character, with a calm feel. Jack and Holly were so friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The bedrooms are simply furnished but comfortable, and ours was quiet, with a very comfy bed and a thoughtful tea tray with fudge as a welcome gift. It’s a peaceful spot for unwinding, and the historic Dunfallandy Stone is an easy walk away. We could imagine the house working well for small weddings too. A lovely choice for a relaxing Highland stay with warm hosts and good food.

Breakfast was a real highlight, beautifully prepared and just right before heading out to explore. The hotel is charming, and the attention to detail and quality throughout stood out. Jack and Iris were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and they were absolute stars with our young daughter. They run a warm, welcoming place with excellent service. We had a truly lovely stay at Dunfallandy House Hotel in Pitlochry and would gladly return on our next trip.
