Staying at Otter lodge felt like stepping back in time. The view from the balcony was excellent, and it was so relaxing. We love nature and quiet, so it was a great fit. We've already booked another stay at the same place and are thinking about joining a membership program. The staff were very helpful, and the whole team at Highland Club gave us beautiful memories in this stunning place. It's an excellent place to stay if you're near the Highlands.

The glassed-in balcony gave us stunning views, especially with the snowfall. Our three-bedroom lodge was spotless and comfortable. We’ve stayed here many times and plan to come back again. Highly recommend it.

The place looked wonderful in the photos, and I’d told my friends how excited I was to visit. After a long journey, we arrived around 9 p.m. and asked reception about food. The kitchen had closed half an hour earlier, and the staff seemed to mock us instead of trying to help. With no delivery, supermarket, or anything nearby in this isolated location, we went to bed hungry. Our accommodation felt cheap and poorly maintained, as if profit mattered more than guest comfort. We only had the living room, with a wall bed and a worn-out couch, and the cupboard’s sliding mirror door rattled whenever we walked around. After we left, I got a private message from a random number claiming to be from the place and asking for links and credit card details. It made me suspect my personal information had been leaked. A very unpleasant and disappointing stay, nothing like I’d imagined.

We couldn’t book because there’s no wheelchair-accessible accommodation. My husband is a paraplegic, and it’s incredibly disappointing that our family can’t enjoy the same holiday choices as able-bodied people. Equal access should be standard by now. It’s frustrating that accessibility is still overlooked.

The hotel serves great food, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the lodges, pool, steam room, sauna and gym. The gym is down by the loch, with a lovely view. The location is top notch and the views are amazing. The village is a 5-10 minute walk, depending on your pace.
