We spent one night here on Friday 6th March 2026, after coming through Pitlochry a couple of weeks earlier on our way to Aberdeen. We’d promised ourselves we’d return for a visit and stay overnight, and after looking through Google maps reviews, chose the Rosehill guest house. The welcome was cheerful and friendly from the start. We chatted about all sorts, from shopping at Costco to our shared birth county, the Royal county of Berkshire. Our room was bright and spacious, kept at a comfortable temperature, and absolutely spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy with a hot, powerful shower. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide selection of cereals, pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruit, herbal teas and coffees, plus several dishes cooked to order. The full Scottish and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs stood out. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return soon. Thanks again for the hospitality.

We had a great stay, with really friendly staff and a spotless room that had a Smart TV and things for making hot drinks. Breakfast was great too, and there was free parking. It’s a perfect spot for exploring, and we’ll be back!

The breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had, and the room was spacious and spotless. I’d certainly recommend checking in to the Rosehill when you’re in Pitlochry.

Everything was lovely and the staff were so friendly. Maybe the egg at breakfast was a little too soft 😜 Just teasing, it was all perfect. Pitlochry brings back childhood memories for me, and I enjoyed it so much. Thanks to the staff!

The owners or staff were so warm and welcoming, and the place was adorable and really clean. We also had an amazing breakfast, the best Scottish breakfast we’ve had.
