Anne and Keith were such kind hosts at the Rosemount Hotel. From booking right through checkout, they made things easy, and the messages before we arrived were friendly and helpful, with suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Our rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was great. It’s easy to walk into town from the hotel, and its warmth and charm helped make our time in Pitlochry so enjoyable.

Rosemount Hotel was a wonderful base for exploring the highlands and Cairngorms. The hosts were so welcoming, they made us feel like family. The junior suite was just the right size for two adults, an infant and a dog.

The rooms were lovely and the location was good, just a short walk from Pitlochry town centre. Breakfast was okay. The one problem was that a couple of staff members were extremely rude. I think one of them may even have been the Manager/Co owner.

We found the price fair for the area, and the hotel was charming and well placed. Our clean, spacious room had everything we needed, parking was available, and the directions to our room were clear even though we arrived late. Breakfast choices were straightforward. There were a few letdowns. The shower pressure was so weak that washing my hair was difficult. The avocado toast came with ready-made guacamole rather than fresh avocado, which disappointed me. At breakfast the waitress checked on other tables but skipped ours, though the older gentleman who greeted us at first was very friendly.

We had the best breakfast we’ve eaten in Scotland, and the room was both truly accessible and extremely comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming.
