I booked three months ago so my parents could stay here at Christmas. Now I've been told the place is closed then, which means paying substantially more to find somewhere else when there are very few options left. The message was just, 'we are closed then,' with no apology for the trouble or inconvenience. Bad customer service.

The hosts are very welcoming, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Alma ticks all the boxes, and the great breakfast sets you up for the day. I'd stay again and recommend it. John Wrench, Bedford.

This was our sixth time at Alma House, and it always feels friendly and like home. Just ask if you need anything, nothing is too much trouble. The decent loo roll is a big plus 😊

Modern rooms, a tasty breakfast and a really friendly feel make this a great place. Add complimentary bottled water and a hair dryer in the rooms, and it'd be perfect.

A lovely, clean B&B and I enjoyed everything about my stay. I felt really welcome. It's in a good spot, with shops, bars, pubs and entertainment nearby, everything you could need while staying in Plymouth.
