The room was clean and comfortable, and sharing the bathroom wasn’t a problem since there are only 3 guest rooms and 2 bathrooms. The host was friendly and left complimentary orange juice, bottled water and breakfast food. One side of the mattress sagged a little. The woman who greeted us was very lovely, though her English was limited. Luckily, my friend spoke Italian, so it wasn’t a big issue.

We were pleasantly surprised when the host offered to put our two bicycles in their own room overnight. We’d expected to lock them up outside and hadn’t asked for indoor storage. It was very thoughtful service, and the stay was good value for money.

The staff were really polite and helpful, and I’d happily stay again when I’m back in Plymouth. The room was basic, which seems fair for the price, but it was spotless and the bed was lovely and comfortable. It had all the facilities I needed.

For what it costs, the room is clean and tidy. You don't often find that, even when you've got complaints.

Clean place, but the room was only about 6 sq m and the bed was tiny too.
