The Grange Bed And Breakfast

We needed somewhere near the race I was running, and this was one of the few places that still had space for our two-night stay. I was a little apprehensive because there were no reviews to read, and I assumed the better places would already be booked. I was wrong. The location suited us perfectly, and the owners, the very sweet Andrée and Eddie Livermore, looked after every request. They’re hard to beat for kindness, trust and consideration. On our way out, Eddie showed us around his garden and gave us homemade pickle and the recipe. The rooms are well equipped, ours had a nice view over the surrounding farmland, and there’s parking on site. Fresh breakfast was ready in the morning, all for a very reasonable price, perhaps the best among nearby B&Bs. At £32.50 per person when I’m writing this, I’d usually say you get what you pay for, but here you get more. Highly recommended.
