Inn In The Park

The food’s superb, and the service is just as good. They have gluten free options and are happy to welcome dogs. We’ve been to this pub a few times when visiting family on trips to Bournemouth, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The decor was nice, with lots of regular tables and a few high ones. We didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. The gents’ toilets are right by the entrance, between the two sets of doors, and smelled so bad we nearly turned around and left. This seems to be about the only pub nearby, which may explain the high prices, especially on the food menu. Service wasn’t especially friendly. We and others waiting had to stand around for about three minutes before someone came back to the bar. There’s very little choice of drinks, and they don’t seem keen on letting you try beers you haven’t had before, so best know what you want and how it tastes.

Amanda managed to find us a table at short notice on a busy night, then looked after us throughout the evening. The night we went was Disco night, and the place was rocking. The Inn on the Park came highly recommended while we were staying nearby, and we really enjoyed the pub’s atmosphere and food. Many thanks to Amanda, the waiting staff and the kitchen team for making it a great evening. Highly recommend.

On a balmy Wednesday evening in October, we had a warm welcome and a lovely vegan dinner at the Inn In The Park. Mia and the team were so hospitable, and we’re looking forward to returning when we’re next in the area. It’s a friendly place with great food at a good price, plus plenty of cask ales and zero alcohol options.
