Quayside Quarters

We had the double room overlooking the beautiful Church, and everything was very clean. The room was well equipped with tea and coffee, a mini bar and chocolate, with an honesty box for payment, which we thought was a lovely touch. The property is on a quiet road but an easy walk from The Quay and restaurants. Jenny was welcoming and informative, and made us feel at home during our three nights, from 9-12 August 2021. We’d stay again, a perfect 10/10 from us.

Jenny and Paul made all of us, including our dog, feel welcome. Jenny was fantastic and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room felt like a home from home, with a fabulous large, comfortable bed and an amazing bath. Breakfast was great, and there was secure parking in the courtyard. Couldn't fault the stay and would definitely recommend it.

The bed was comfortable and clean, and the shutters made the room properly dark. The room and ensuite were immaculate, with refreshments provided. There’s also an honesty box mini bar and, in the bathroom, a cupboard of products guests can use if they’ve forgotten anything. Jenny was extremely friendly and welcoming. When you arrive, she shows you to your room and gives you a book with local history and useful information, including suggestions for pubs, restaurants and places to visit. We really enjoyed our three-night stay and highly recommend it.

I didn’t stay at this B&B myself, but my parents-in-law loved it. Their room was spacious, very clean and relaxing, with a big bathroom and a king bed. The owner was lovely and even tried speaking some French with them. They also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which was a very generous portion. I can recommend the B&B on their behalf. There wasn’t a sign on the door, so we weren’t quite sure we had the right place, but the email before arrival confirms the exact address. Just follow that.
