Watching the fishermen working with their boats and lobster cages turned out to be a fun surprise. We stayed for two nights, and Gina was a wonderful host, happy to make whichever breakfast we wanted and flexible about the time. She also left snacks in our room. Being right by the water and beach made the location delightful.

The beach just outside was a lovely extra. We spent three nights here with my partner, and Geena took such good care of us, even cleaning the room each day. She checked what time suited us for breakfast and put out a lovely selection of fruit, cereal, and a full English. The bedroom felt cosy and homely, with a really comfortable bed and thoughtful bits like tea, coffee, and cotton pads. It’s a beautiful place, and we’re so grateful for the way we were treated. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, cereal, and a full breakfast made from really good ingredients. We were given a lovely welcome at the Anchorage bed and breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and Gina was friendly and helpful. We’d highly recommend this guest house in Port Seton.

After nine days walking The John Muir Way, seeing the B&B sign outside was a relief. From Miss Gina’s lovely welcome until we headed out the next day, staying at the Anchorage felt like a gift. The room was fresh and clean, with a nice ensuite bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a relaxing view of the Firth of Fourth. Breakfast was tasty and served with a smile, and Port Seton village is right on the doorstep. I wish there were a 6 Star option!
