Premier Inn Porthmadog

We’ve stayed here before and found it faultless again. Check-in was easy, with a warm welcome from the staff. Our room at the back of the hotel was lovely, clean and tidy, with a spotless bathroom and a view across the traed towards Beddgelert. It was quiet, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel is handy for town and local activities, and works well for exploring further afield too. Check-out was simple, and the staff were cheerful and bubbly, more like a Friday afternoon than a Monday morning. Thanks to them, we’re looking forward to returning. PPP... We spent two nights at Premier Inn, Porthmadog, in a Premier Plus room on the second floor, with a great view over the estuary. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. The extras and included better wi-fi made the small additional cost worthwhile. Staff were all friendly and worked hard to give good restaurant service, especially Martin. The food was the usual reasonable standard for a Thyme branded restaurant. The only very slight downside was that a couple of drinks were out of stock.

The circular walk into town behind the hotel was really handy, and it felt safe for our son with special needs. We also loved how much scenery and so many amenities were packed into one place. The rooms were quiet despite the road, and ours was clean and comfortable. Staff were quick to help and very friendly, and the restaurant layout worked well for us as a family. They even left a birthday surprise in the room for my husband’s 50th. We’d love to come back together. It made us very happy, thank you!

We were over the moon with how everyone made a fuss of our little man. We hadn’t told the staff it was his fifth birthday, though he did have a T-shirt saying so. An evening staff member gave him one of the coasters she makes and sells for charity; in the morning, the chef sang Happy Birthday, and the manager brought him a game and sweets.
