Samson's Place

We’ve been back about four or five times, and it’s one of the best holiday cottages we’ve stayed in. The nearby walks are plentiful, starting right at the door or just a short drive away, so it makes a great base for exploring. It’s warm in winter, with double radiators throughout, and we loved spending Christmas there off-season. The owners use the cottage themselves, and it shows in how immaculate and well cared for it is. It feels like home, with a well-stocked kitchen, from apple corers and Tupperware to spare sponges and washing tablets. There are lots of helpful extras too, like blankets, fans, hoovers, Netflix, good internet, and a hosepipe out front to clean the dog after the beach. I can’t recommend it enough. I’ve included photos of nearby spots, including the beach and cliffs ten minutes’ walk away, plus Beddgelert and Criccieth, about a fifteen-minute drive.
