Breakfast was lovely, though it costs extra and doesn’t start until 8:30, so heading out early isn’t really possible. The interior spaces have been refurbished nicely. Our room was fine, but we got the smallest double with a tiny window even though there was only one other guest. The bed was quite lumpy.

My husband’s full fried breakfast was lovely, and my French toast was divine, especially with the fresh fruit. This was my first time at a B&B, and it set the bar high. The host felt genuine, and you could tell he really loves what he does. It honestly felt like staying at home.

Micha and Marlena made me feel at home while I was away, and they’re two incredibly friendly, caring hosts. The rooms are big and the beds so comfy you could stay in them all day, but then you’d miss the breakfast, which, without joking, was the best on the whole island. For me, Antique House B&B is by far the best place to stay in Portrush. It’s a two-minute walk from the train station and has a car park. Portrush is a beautiful little town on the NorthCoast, close to the ocean, with sights like Giants Causeway just 25 minutes away by bus, plus lovely walks and places to have a coffee. Northern Ireland is a beautiful country and well worth a trip. I’d definitely recommend this place and would go back any time.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and having free private parking at the property was a bonus. The rooms are functional, with a good shower. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh croissants, eggs and fruit. A fresh loaf in the morning might have been nice, but otherwise it was a good breakfast.

Michael and Marlena were super friendly and very accommodating, even after I missed a simple policy issue I should have noticed. Great location and breakfast too. It was a great spot for our trip to Portrush, and I’d recommend staying here. Thanks, guys!
