Just a five-minute walk into town, and easily the best B&B we stayed at during our two weeks travelling around Ulster. Breakfast was to a very high standard, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with modern ensuite bathrooms. Frank, our host, kept us entertained with brilliant stories and great craic. We had a fantastic stay!

The room was spotless and the beds so comfortable. Frank and his wife made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was superb. Great location, just five minutes from the train station and town.

You can walk to all the action from The Mandalay, but it’s quiet at the inn. A comfortable B&B and a great spot for a good night’s sleep.

We stayed with a group attending The Open, and Mandalay was ideal for golfers playing Royal Portrush, close to the town centre too. Frank and Gail were superb hosts. The bedroom and en suite were extremely well appointed, with fresh white towels and toiletries, and breakfast was wonderful. It certainly deserves all its five stars.

Frank and Gail were away on holiday, so their daughter Nikki looked after things in their place. She was fabulous, friendly, attentive and helpful. My husband had the traditional Irish full breakfast, and I had porridge. Both were excellent. This quaint B&B was so clean and nice, with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. I can’t say enough good things about Mandalay. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Portrush, you’ve found it!
