The sleep was really good, and despite being beside a 24-hour service station and truck stop, we weren’t bothered by traffic noise. It’s right off the M25, which makes it handy for a stop. The hotel feels dated, but it still gives you a chance to rest and relax. Our stay was cheaper than the next nearest Premier Inn in Elstree, about five minutes away, which would have cost an extra £10 that day. Being just outside the M25 seems to help keep the price down.

This has become a comfortable home base for my work trips, and the personal service is a big reason I keep coming back. I’ve stayed regularly over the past few years, and the staff are wonderful and do their best to meet my needs. Muhammad is often working and is always happy to help with whatever I need. Karen has also received countless parcels for me and kept them safe.

Anjith looked after us so thoughtfully in the bar and restaurant. He was consistently attentive and genuinely pleasant, and he was especially good with our two young kids. It made a noticeable difference to the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and worked well for our needs. It was good value for the price and made a useful base for our trip. We could conveniently get to Cockfosters and then into central London.

Ednilson made the bar feel relaxed and welcoming from the start. He was friendly and attentive without going overboard, and I felt at ease straight away. You can tell he cares about customers and takes pride in his work. That kind of small interaction really adds to a stay. He’s a great asset to the team. Thanks, Ednilson, for being so kind and looking after me so well.

The room was what I expected for the price, and breakfast was good. Staff were friendly, and the price was excellent. Parking came to about £7.00 a night. There was no restaurant food available on the day we visited, for some reason, but the service station was about a five-minute walk away and had restaurants. I’d recommend staying here and would come back.
