Breck Apartments

I left my iPhone charger behind, and after I messaged reception, someone went to look for it and kindly offered to post it back. The staff really are fantastic. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and the place looked stunning. I couldn't recommend it more. Thanks, and keep up the great work.

It's a handy spot, just a two-minute walk from cafes, bars, and restaurants. The furnishings and kitchen-living area were finished to a high standard. But cleanliness let it down badly for us: toothpaste on the bathroom wall, dust and rubbish behind the sink, dusty bedroom lights, holes in the bedding, black hairs on the dining chairs, and stains on the lounge carpet. The blinds were damaged too. We couldn't get the WiFi or heating working, even after asking twice about the WiFi. There was just one egg cup and three drinking glasses. For the price, it wasn't good value, and we wouldn't stay again.

The location made it easy to get around, with the train station right across the road and plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away. We had a lovely stay at Breck Apartments. It was exceptionally clean, the cosy rooms had very comfortable beds, and the apartment was better furnished than some hotels and exceeded what we expected. A personal thanks to the host, who was so helpful when I left my makeup bag behind after checkout and arranged to get it back to me. We'd definitely recommend the apartments and stay again.

The bathroom smelled like an open sewer, and the toilet seat was broken. The apartment looked very smart, but felt overpriced, with most of the extras unnecessary for a one-night stay. Paying another £25 to check in an hour early was insane.
