Singleton Lodge Country House Hotel

Our daughter's October wedding at Singleton lodge was magical, and I wish we could do the whole day again. The alpacas were part of the wedding and the guests loved them. We also stayed for two nights; the rooms suited the hotel beautifully, and the vegetarian breakfast was one of the best I've had. Jo, Ash, Maxine, the bar and waiting staff, and the head chef all helped the day run like clockwork. The food was delicious: leek and potato soup, a choice of chicken roast or salmon, then chocolate orange tart. At every consultation, the team welcomed us warmly and took care with all the details. The bridal apartment is well worth recommending, with plenty of space for the bride, bridesmaids, and family to get ready comfortably.

The hotel, the staff, and the food were all great, and we left feeling great too. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and my wife said it was the best she'd tasted. As a Lancashire lad, I thought the fried bread with the full English was heaven. Masie at breakfast and reception deserves a special mention for being so friendly, helpful, and courteous. I arrived a day early through my own mistake, but everyone was incredibly accommodating. Even with a large wake arriving, Maxine quickly found us a room in the lovely garden room. She'd also noticed on my booking form that it was our anniversary and managed to scatter red and white rose petals in the room. Many thanks, Colin & Sally.

Even with a full-on storm on my wedding day, the venue looked absolutely stunning. The bar prices were reasonable too, which my guests were very happy about. I had my wedding here in December 2024, and it was magical. The staff were attentive and helpful in the lead-up and on the day itself. They communicated brilliantly, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were attentive and made me feel like part of a family. My room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities, and the food was excellent. I had a lovely stay at this peaceful, comfortable hotel. It's a best-kept secret I'd definitely recommend. Hope to see you soon, and thank you.
