The bed was so comfortable, and everyone was really friendly. The rooms felt warm and five-star, and I left feeling cosy and content.

A nice pint there too. The place was clean and warm, and the staff were friendly. Handy for an overnight stay when working up north.

The room was okay for what I paid. I was puzzled by the breakfast information: it was advertised and mentioned in the room's information book, but after my one-night stay I couldn't find any breakfast the next morning.

Owner David was very helpful and accommodating. It's a lovely little inn above a pub.

The landlord and staff are lovely, and everything I needed was there. It's a cheap, cheerful place where you could do a lot worse, though you get what you pay for.
