Sharon, the manager, was fantastic, so friendly and accommodating, and made me feel welcome. The hotel was beautiful, clean and comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere. It's also very conveniently placed, just a three-minute walk from the town centre and train station. Breakfast was delicious and set me up well for the day. I had an excellent stay from start to finish and highly recommend Ashwood House Hotel.

The owners and management were very good, and the place was clean and tidy. It was cheaper than anywhere else, too. The location is hard to beat: two minutes on foot from the train station, ten from the bus station, with food close by and a beautiful park and river just a minute away. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I'll visit again when I'm in the Preston area, and would highly recommend it in the city centre.

Sam was fabulous, and I can't thank her enough for making my stay so pleasant. The hotel was amazing and my room was very spacious.

I spent a week here with my mum. It was a great experience, and the manager and stewards showed us wonderful hospitality and professionalism throughout our stay.

There was no value for money at all when I booked this for my friend. The service was poor and the experience felt unprofessional. If you needed something, there wasn't a proper reception, so you had to call staff on their mobiles, which was inconvenient. Housekeeping was disappointing too. Towels were left on the carpet outside the room and weren't replaced promptly, even after a reminder. Tea bags and milk weren't replenished either. This feels more like a low-standard guest house than a hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it.
