We got in late after a long drive and had a first-class meal with a beer in the restaurant. The food was great, so credit to the kitchen team. Jawad welcomed us and was really helpful and attentive while bringing our meals.

All the staff were welcoming, and we had a lovely night away with good food. Sarah, the housekeeper on the third floor, gave my niece a cute duck called Julie. It was such a kind gesture and made us both smile. We even got to meet Sarah and thank her.

The air conditioning in the rooms was a real blessing during the heatwave. I’ve just had another four great nights here, as I always do. Thanks especially to Dyan,Family, Laura, Julia and Lorraine for being so friendly. Dyan and Kamila kept me entertained and laughing while I had my nightcap. Well done to the whole team!

The location worked well for us since it’s fairly central, though you do hear some city noise. Parking is limited, so we had to use the multistorey by the bus stop across the road and pay. We moved the car quickly the next day when a space opened up. It’s a nice hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It had all the essentials.

From outside, it looks like a 1970s monstrosity, but the inside is clean and modern, and the staff are friendly. The bar and breakfast areas were tidy, and the usual Holiday Inn breakfast was good. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom neat. The car park is small, so getting a space is a matter of luck, though there’s a large public car park next door. I’d definitely stay here again if I came back to Preston.
