The staff were amazing, helpful and happy to accommodate my needs. They made me feel at home, away from home. Breakfast was another highlight, with generous portions and choices from a full English to continental options, and it could be customised to suit you. It’s ideally placed by a crossroads with access to the M6, and near a lovely park with an observatory, large open fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. A great bed and breakfast for a short visit or a longer holiday.

Easy to find, with off-street parking. It seems to get people working away, I suspect, but my room was clean and the staff were friendly. The cooked breakfast was very good too. It’s a cheap hotel, but good value for what you pay. I’d stay again if I were passing through and needed a bed for the night.

The price was very reasonable, and breakfast was excellent. My room was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the welcome made me feel at home. I’d stay again.

The building and location feel quite grand for a simple B&B, with high ceilings. It’s been redecorated recently, in a fairly minimalist but tasteful style. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve had, but there are options, so I’ll try a different one tomorrow. For anyone arriving by car, access is round the back on Lorraine Ave.
