There’s a BP with an M&S Food directly opposite, and the hotel has its own restaurant for breakfast only, replacing the one that used to be next door. The hotel is right by a bus stop and next to the airport, but we didn’t hear any planes during our few nights there. Our room looked recently and fully refurbished, not just freshly painted, and the staff were polite and friendly.

We stayed one night in a Premier Plus room. It was modern, seemed recently refurbished, and was great value for a slightly upgraded room in the area. The location was convenient and easy to reach. There’s no lift to the second floor, so you have to carry your bags up the stairs.

We spent a couple of nights in a Premier Plus room, and the £20 extra made a huge difference. It was spacious, with a large bathroom and shower, free quality WiFi, and a coffee machine with unlimited pods available from reception. The staff and location were good, breakfast is available on site if you choose it, and parking costs £3 a day. I’d pick this room again every time. We liked it so much that I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the room.

Our room was fantastic, especially the Premier Plus option, which cost only a little more. The location felt a bit secluded and the signal was poor, though. Andrew was on reception both Saturday and Sunday night, and he was amazing, so friendly, helpful and always smiling. He honestly made our stay much better.

The breakfast staff were truly lovely and made the meal a delight. The team here is great overall. This is the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed in so far.
