We booked breakfast, and it was delicious. The ladies serving were attentive, and we could leave our car in the parking lot while we went into London. The walk from the hotel to the train station took us about 30 minutes. We'd definitely stay again. After a really busy day at Wimbledon, we arrived to check in at 10 p.m. The welcome was lovely, and they got us settled in well. We paid a bit extra for the more spacious attic room. It had a huge bed, lovely pillows, spotless room and nice towels. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a while.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Beech House Hotel, the best full English of our 26-day trip. We also took a taxi into the city and had a lovely meal at The Reading Room. This small hotel was just right for us. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, the rooms spotless and comfortable, and there was parking onsite. Being just outside the city centre made arriving easier. A great stay.

We came to Reading for our granddaughter's wedding, and Beech House Hotel was perfectly placed for our one-night stay. It was spotless, warm and comfortable, with a great bed. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and a great breakfast was a lovely end to an enjoyable occasion.

The traditional feel made this a welcoming place to stay for work. I was greeted warmly and shown where things were and how everything worked. The public spaces and my room were spotless, and despite the busy road outside, the room was quiet. There’s a Beefeater across the road, with a Tesco Express about a 20-minute walk away and Lidl another five minutes beyond that. I’d definitely recommend it.

This old-fashioned hotel turned out better than I expected and was good value for money. The manager was a very helpful chap. For dinner, there’s a Beefeater in The Southcote pub across the road.
