If you’re happy to spend your money and energy for nothing, go ahead and book the apartment. Just be aware they may not respond properly to your questions, and when you move out they could make excuses and keep your security deposit.

The hotel’s close to the town centre and seems good. I’m not sure whether they have parking. The road spaces are permit-only, and parking can be a pain when the wardens are around. I’ve worked in this area many times. Good luck with everything.
