Saco Reading - Clipper House

We had to leave because the conditions were disgusting, and we lost the prepaid rent, which was non-refundable. The floors were filthy, dishes in the cupboards were dirty, and every surface had dust, grease, and grime on it. The carpets were in terrible shape and the water was nasty. Despite being called a “non smoking apartment,” it reeked of cigarettes. Staff told us the black sticky marks on the floor were “scoff marks.” They also said “non smoking” meant we weren’t allowed to smoke there, but apparently the place could still stink like an ashtray. They lied to our faces.
