Sure Hotel by Best Western Reading

After a full day on my three day course, I returned to my Reading hotel room and found a large brown stain on the bed. I’d asked in the morning for the room to be cleaned, and I can only imagine what the stain was. The manager wouldn’t offer compensation. She said the cleaning crew had just left, and that the sheets are changed every five days. The bathroom also smelled of sewage, and the room phone didn’t work. I stayed one night, and everything had seemed fine before that. Don’t stay here.

I had breakfast included, with a good range to pick from, including gluten free and dairy free choices. There’s plenty of parking too. The room was a nice surprise for what I paid: clean, fresh aired, and not stuffy, with a bathroom in good shape. They’d left shower gel and hand soap, plus a fridge, microwave, mugs, plates, cutlery, and basic tea and coffee. A tea towel or something to dry the dishes on would be useful. The one real downside was the fridge, which was so loud it woke me up at night. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were really helpful, and it’s in a great spot with a big car park. My room had all the facilities, including a microwave, fridge, and cutlery. The gym’s small, but has what you need for a workout. A great stay 👌🏽

Mareka and Common made my night feel more special. The whole team is wonderful and welcoming, especially Beatrix, who’s attentive to what guests need and warm and friendly both on the phone and in person. Her helpful service and welcoming manner really added to my stay.
