I couldn’t get into the property or reach anyone when I arrived for my two-night stay. None of the website contact numbers worked, so I had to find somewhere else to stay outside the area. Booking.com was the only reason I got my money back. Don’t book.

The location was a real plus: Feed is a lovely place for lunch or coffee, with craft beer, bars, and restaurants right nearby. The station is under a ten-minute walk, with quick direct trains to central Manchester and Stockport. The apartment was modern and nicely fitted, and the bed was comfortable, though I had to push the mattress back so the pillows wouldn’t slip behind it. There weren’t many cups, but enough for two, and the bedroom blackout blinds worked well. The shower setup was frustrating. The handheld shower didn’t work, and apparently someone had already reported it broken in Sept 2024. At the price, it should have been fixed. The overhead shower worked fine, but it’s awkward if you have long hair and don’t want it wet. There’s also no shelf or soap dish for shampoo or soap. No firmer pillow option either. We couldn’t find any guidance about recycling, the apartment, local transport, or the area. One bed apt.
Booking.com took the payment, but there was no check-in information, and the phone numbers didn’t work on the day. Don’t book.
The apartment has plenty of space, good-sized rooms, and all the facilities we needed. It’s centrally located, with mini markets, bars, a cafe, takeaways, the main bus route, and the local train station all close by. A few things let the place down. The flat door was open when we arrived, although the main entrance was secure. The sofa leg was broken, so I propped it up with a brick. One bathroom spotlight didn’t work, and the shower hose leaked a little. These are things the cleaning crew should have noticed. I contacted the hosts through the portal and their website, but they never replied.
We barely spent time inside since we were out most of the time and didn’t cook, though the kitchen looked functional. It’s a lovely little, quiet flat with easy access to the local train station and no noise at night. It’s in the attic, with skylights but no views.
