We really enjoyed our stay in the sheppards hut. The sink wasn’t working, but the staff were lovely and asked us to leave things in the kitchenette so they could wash up for us. I expected more plane noise with the airport so close, but we barely heard any. It was just a lovely, laid-back stay. Recommend the darlington arms for food. Thank you.

Had a fun stay in the shepherds hut at goblin coombe. If you’re after an easy weekend with campfires, BBQs, fields and fresh air, it’s a great choice. The airport is close, but you can’t really notice the planes, so don’t let that put you off.

Such a quaint experience, and great value for money. I was so impressed by the place and the hosts. Maybe check under the bed for the odd spider.

We didn’t stay because there was a mistake with the booking, and the owners weren’t willing to help even though I had two children with me. It was also really hard to get hold of anyone for help or advice :(

What a lovely place, and really good value. We’d definitely recommend their bell tent and can’t wait to go back.
