We stayed for three nights from 20th Feb and got a free upgrade from the owner to the Badger Room. It was lovely, with a very comfortable super king-size bed, an ensuite and tasteful decor throughout. The whole place helped make our stay relaxing. We had full use of the kitchen and dining area, and continental breakfast with a wide selection was included in the price. There are great views from the back balcony. The owner and staff were so welcoming and lovely. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in Cornwall. They deserve five stars.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed. Lansdowne Simply Stay in Redruth, Cornwall was spotless, comfortable and well equipped for a relaxing trip. It’s peaceful, but still close to local attractions and the beautiful Cornish beaches. A charming place to unwind, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cornwall. Five stars.

The shared food area is a nice place to spend time with other people, and the rooms are lovely. This feels more like a B&B than a hotel, and the staff are very pleasant. Redruth is a great little town without much of a touristy feel, and everyone is friendly. Turn left from the hotel and it’s about 100 meters to Redruth Meadery for a great meal.

For a budget stay, this quiet, unserviced period B&B is excellent value, and I’ll definitely use it again. It has a quirky theme, is very clean, and offers a great continental breakfast selection and hot drinks. Thanks for the painkillers on Sunday morning, Nic! 😉

Self check-in and checkout were straightforward, and someone was available by phone when we arrived late and had trouble with the code. The room was beautiful, with stylish decor, a small walk-in closet area, good amenities and a nice view over the hill with its small castle. The property is lovely inside and out, even the stairs look great. Location is good for the price, though a little way from the shore.
