We felt at home straight away and were sorry to leave after our week in October. The cottage is lovely and homely, and the location is special, with wonderful Snowdonia views from the living room. Hilary was a pleasant, attentive host who regularly checked that everything was okay. I only caught a glimpse of one Red Squirrel darting under the pines outside the kitchen window, but you can’t have everything. Highly recommended, though please don’t book the week we want when we come back 🙂.

We had great walks straight from the cottage, across fields and along beaches, from 30 minutes to over 4 hours, so we hardly needed the car. The shop, pub and takeaway were about 3 miles away, which worked well. There was plenty of space for the two of us and our dogs. The place was clean and nicely presented, with a full-size under-counter fridge and a separate freezer, which was a bonus. We also enjoyed the Snowdonia views from the lounge and bedroom, and the good-sized enclosed garden with furniture. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was very comfortable, and the views were outstanding.
