After long days of walking, our large room and perfect bathroom were just what we needed. We were here during our coast to coast walk, with Packhorse arranging our accommodation, and also took a rest day. The hosts, a husband and wife team, were wonderful and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Breakfast couldn’t have been better. Thank you for taking such good care of us, Loyce and Diana.

The only thing that took away from our stay was the cat. I’m allergic, so the journey was full of runny noses, sneezing and itchy eyes. If cats aren’t a problem for you, this is a perfect getaway. It’s a quaint B and B that met all our needs, with friendly hosts who were happy to help. The hot tub was available and good quality. Social distancing was handled sensibly without spoiling the visit, and breakfast was delicious with a good ordering system.

Even with snow around, the countryside was beautiful for walks. We had a brilliant time in the hot tub at Cordilleras House, and the hosts were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms exceptionally clean and the beds super comfy. We’d definitely stay again! X

I stopped here for two days on my coast to coast walk, and the location made it very convenient to walk into Richmond. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was very good. The welcome was lovely too. I forgot my walking stick when I left, and Jez drove several miles to bring it back to me. You don’t get that service every day!

Just a few minutes on foot from Richmond town centre, this is a very nice B and B. The town’s beautiful buildings and cosy atmosphere are close by. Rooms are clean and a good size, with nice modern en-suites. I can recommend it for a short or long stay.
