The place worked fine as a base, and the rooms were alright, though a bit dusty. The information was out of date: I was looking forward to eating at the restaurant, but it didn't open until Thursday. I also had to replace all the batteries in the remote controls and the kitchen light. The internet never worked, so I gave up trying. When I phoned to ask about it before 11 pm, I was told off, even though the information said to phone any time. Sorry, guys, but the place needs a dusting too.

These old apartments have loads of character and were reasonably priced. Their quirks come with the age: the floors and walls aren't level, the ceilings aren't straight, and some windows drop. If that sort of thing bothers you, this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, go for it.

There's plenty of character and charm here, though problems with the hot water cost it a star for me. Bear in mind that this place is 300 years old, and may not suit anyone with serious mobility issues.

The room was lovely, clean and tidy, and the location was great. We had a parking problem on the first night, which is why I'd give it four stars. I'd still recommend staying here.

The food was good and it's a nice place to stay. I'd come back.
