Jane’s Christmas tree is stunning, and her homemade bread and brownies were such a treat. Breakfast was fresh, high quality, and made with locally sourced food. The couple who run the BnB are welcoming, friendly, helpful, and great to chat with.

There are thoughtful extras all around, including homemade brownies in the room and a good range of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. You can get fresh milk from the dining-room fridge, and the showers are great, with lovely toiletries. Chris and Jane are wonderful hosts, and their house is beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was fantastic, with loads of choice and excellent quality. We had an absolutely lovely time, and I can’t fault the place. If we come back to Robin Hood's Bay, I wouldn’t look anywhere else. 10/10 *****

The pubs were a 10-15 minute walk away, and the pub food was well worth the money. My wife and I stayed for two nights in July and thought this was a fantastic guest house. The hosts were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was very, very good.

Breakfast was amazing. One day I had salmon and scrambled eggs, then a full English the next. The B&B is about a 10-minute walk to Robin Hood's Bay beach and a 10-minute drive to Whitby, so the location worked really well. There’s free on-road parking too. Chris and Jane are lovely, helpful hosts, and they’ve refurbished the old Victorian house to a high standard. Our room was large, with an en-suite bathroom and a great view across the bay. Each day we found brownies in the room, along with tea and coffee making facilities. There’s also a small library on the landing, spare umbrellas in the porch, and a mini fridge for guests in the dining room. Fresh milk and bottled water were included.
