We’ve been here twice and enjoyed our time at this quiet, cosy hotel in a picturesque setting. The spa has a lovely pool with loungers, plus a good range of steam rooms and jacuzzis. There are a few downsides: the tiles in the steam room area are very mouldy, and the outdoor jacuzzi sometimes isn’t warm enough inside. The spa reception staff aren’t always friendly or accommodating to guests. Thanks to the rest of the hotel staff for a wonderful time.

We came for a birthday treat and would highly recommend it. The spa facilities are really good, and the therapists are knowledgeable and talented. They made us feel comfortable from the start and managed to get all our knots out. We’ll definitely be back. A big shoutout to Josh, Diane and Paul. Thank you!

Our family had an excellent weekend break at the Mercure Manchester Norton Grange, and the kids enjoyed it too. The spa was nice, and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The place had a great atmosphere and was clean throughout. We had a friendly welcome. Thank you to Parag, Humama from reception, Dan from F&B and Gitu from housekeeping. You’re all excellent at what you do. We’d recommend this place to anyone, 101%.

I’ve been staying here regularly for 16 years, and it feels like a home from home. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and I consider it the best hotel in the area. The food is good, the bar has recently been modernised, and the breakfast choices are as good as anywhere. The pool and spa are spacious for a hotel, which is a great facility if you’re staying for a while. Rooms on the main extension side are large and clean. The bathrooms are showing their age, but having both a bath and a separate walk-in shower is a nice feature.

We can’t wait to return. The whole visit was wonderful from the moment we arrived until we left. The spa was relaxing, the facilities were perfect, and the massage was magical. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We asked for a later checkout and for one of the reserved tables, and both requests were no problem.
