We keep coming back to the pub and restaurant, though we haven't stayed in the hotel. The food has always been tasty and well cooked, and the staff we've met have been polite and helpful. There's also a pleasant outdoor area for warm days.

Even over a packed bank holiday weekend, the staff were accommodating and didn't make an issue of my mobility scooter. Just be aware that the rooms are upstairs and you need to manage the stairs. In

The dog rule itself wasn't a problem, but three people came to our table with things and said nothing about it until after I'd eaten and paid. The food was rubbish, and the cutlery stayed dirty even after several changes, so I was glad to leave. It felt like getting paid mattered more than enforcing the rules.

As someone who loves Wetherspoons, I really liked the historic feel throughout this Rochester pub. The portraits and old-fashioned seating brought back a lovely sense of the past. Such a distinctive setup. Loved it.

We were in Rochester for a day trip last week and stopped for a drink before heading home. My favourite is the Mango Picante, and Anastacija made the best one I've ever had at Spoons anywhere in the country. It was mixed really well and looked perfect too. She's a star, thank you! 💯
