The lodge sits in the middle of the island, which made it easy for us, as non-locals, to explore every side. The views were stunning, and the house was gorgeous, with everything we needed: indoor and outdoor dining areas, tennis courts, a swimming pool, sun loungers and a BBQ. We also saw little lambs and horses in the fields whenever we drove to the lodge. This was our first family staycation on the IOW, recommended for my 30th birthday because my auntie had already stayed four times, and it didn't disappoint. I think we'll book again next year. So glad we found this island gem, and I'll recommend it to all my friends.

We had a lovely stay, but I'm still feeling like someone has robbed us. We spent two hours scrubbing the BBQ grills and drip pan, then got fined £50 for not cleaning it. Whether you use the BBQ or not, take plenty of photos of its condition. If we'd known they'd charge us £50, we would have left it alone and enjoyed those two hours of our holiday instead. Would I recommend this place? No, definitely not.

We stayed at Rookley farm lodge for a week and have just got home. Everything was so clean, and the beds were comfortable. The pool and tennis court were also very well maintained. I can't rate the place highly enough, and hopefully we'll come back next year!
