A Victorian mansion B&B is right up my street. I loved the room’s furnishings and décor, and the bay window in the lounge is my dream window seat. Kier was warm and cheerful as a host, and had lots of recommendations. Breakfast was amazing, especially the haddock and potato cake, my favourite. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I’ve also included a few photos from around the isle. Beautiful. 😊💖💚🌿

I was there for a flying two-day visit to see the local museum. The host was cheerful and very welcoming, and the single room was surprisingly spacious. Breakfast was well done, with plenty of choice, good produce and prompt service. The lounge has a beautiful bay view, and the off-road parking was a bonus.

At The Glendale, the beds are so comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean. Keir and Fiona are friendly hosts, and the breakfast menu is delicious. We’ve stayed many times and absolutely love it. The views are fabulous, especially watching the ferry come and go. Can’t wait to return xx

We’ve just had a great three-night stay. Room 10 was wow, what a view, and the bed was great too. Keir and Fiona were so welcoming, and breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. We’ll be back.

We wouldn’t rush back. There were problems from the start: the room was cold and dated, the shower had no pressure, and breakfast was very short and early for a holiday. The host also needs to work on his manners and how he handles criticism. We saw that when we asked for the heating to be turned up, and in other honest reviews.
