We came with friends for a few days to show them the Highlands, and were very pleased with the holiday. The owners were kind, attentive and helpful. The cottages were very clean, with spacious rooms and lots of amenities. There was a slight damp smell when we went in, and the places could be aired out more often. The location is beautiful: you can walk beside the river or through the forest, and animals roam freely. We saw chickens and rabbits, and on our last day, deer too.

The mountain views, deer and even a little red squirrel made this stay special. We were there from 22/08/22 to 28/08/2022, and number 11 soon felt like a home from home. The host was brilliant, really friendly and helpful. We also appreciated that it welcomed pets, and the kitchen had good quality utensils and pans. Everything was immaculate, with lovely furnishings and great bedding. We’d definitely look to stay again soon.

We spent a fantastic family break at The Little Houses. There was plenty of nature around, with chickens roaming freely as well as deer and horses. It felt secluded and relaxing, yet amenities were still close by and a couple of bars were within walking distance. David and Beverley were friendly and shared information about nearby places to visit. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, among the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and had comfortable beds and everything we needed.
